The Refuge is a daughter Church of House on the Rock Churches with headquarters in Lagos. Pastor Paul A. Adefarasin founded the House on the Rock in December 1994 with a vision of empowering believers for the fulfilling of their God-ordained destinies. The Refuge was birthed in September 1999 under the inspirational leadership of Pastor GoodHeart Obi C. Ekwueme. The Refuge acts as a springboard for strategic ministry in the northern region of Nigeria and beyond.

Our Purpose: Our purpose in The Refuge is to reach a hurting and dying generation with Jesus' message of hope and compassion, discipling them to Christ-like maturity, releasing them to fulfill their God-ordained destinies in Church and in life as God's instrument for reaching and touching our world, in order to bring Jesus glory.
